Paterson Province 2018 and future, page-58

Two snippets of information came out for the Paterson region during the past week. Headlines from MiningNews:







1. NCM Greatlands started a 10Km drilling program at Havieron.
Details available on the Greatland's site.

10-15 holes should bring Havieron into perspective.


The broad similarities of AZY and Greatland's show up in how the Havieron "JV" frees up funds for exploration at:
Black Range (high powered IP) and a detailed airmag survey on their ground north of Havieron.

Black Range probably has similarities to Chicken Ranch, Tim's Dome and other AZY targets.
Did NCM's historical exploration miss? Will new geophysics, eyes and more drilling cause a reappraisal as has happened at Havieron. Visual results could start to come out in the next month but assays probably not till early Q3.







2 Rio awarded EIS funds for Budgiedown a Havieron like target drilled but stopped (?abandoned) in cover rocks (Permian) by NCM in 1991.


Drilling the Permian cover (400+-?m) is obviously challenging. Even the much shallower cover at Winu and Citadel have reports of holes being abandoned.

One useful aspect of EIS funded exploration is that the reporting requirements are apparently more strict such that information is available in significant detail. Examples are the 2016/7 Rimfire and Calibre programs that are in these two PDFs.

For the technically minded reports such as this give information that doesn't make it into announcements - for obvious reasons.

The 2019 field season is getting into full swing and hopefully some good news will come out.

FMG imo are probably a quiet performer. They have been active in the S and SE of the Paterson for quite awhile. The FMG northern tenements (Also RDM, SRI, MCT, Rio and others) are still pending.

Native title and other issues mean around 15 months may be considered normal here if any are even granted.
