I don't think I ever said anyone is substantially better than Pointerra. They are at a technology level comparable to a few others like OrbitGT, Cintoo, 3dusernet, pointscene and Euclideon Vault. But wouldn't say any of those are better.

Pointerra has pushed to market in a better manner than most of them but there is more competition coming from the really big AEC companies soon.

O guess their biggest problem is outside of the geospatial industry not many people know what to do with the data. I can say that problem exists for every other company I mentioned.
