    Thanks for clearing that up Mike, I think everyone here was a bit confused about exactly what Linc is attempting to do here.

    Seriously though mate, what are you talking about?

    Don't you think the market understands what is going on here and that Linc are the first company in the world to put these two technologies together? Why do you think there is so much interest in Linc at the moment?

    There are a lot of reasons why UCG-GTL will be far superior to the traditional above ground gasification.

    Linc are hoping to be able to produce a barrel of fuel for about 30 bucks. I'm not sure what it costs using the above ground method, but by the time the coal is mined and transported to the plant before being gasified, I'm sure it would be a fair bit more than that.

    And apart from the "POSSIBLE" savings in GHG emissions, there's the fact that you don't have to rip a gaping hole in the earth to get the coal out.
