Not sure who your question is directed at but to answer anyway, I am sure that the fear of a collapsing SP would not or could not be applied for by any BOD's to the ASX as the reason for a suspension request.
What I was alluding to is that any BOD's primary concern IMO must be towards the owners of the company to protect their share price but the company would be citing the actual reason they thought may create the situation of tanking.
There is a multitude of reasons that could be cited by the directors but I doubt very much an anticipated SP collapse could be one of them but that IMO should be the primary reason behind the BOD's asking for a suspension in the first place. Anyway this has been flogged to death - I'm outta' here.
