Actually think there are still some trapped traders.
I am not so sure that this will be down heavily (but I take your point regarding the Oppies). This wont move up unless there is a SIGNIFICANT announcement now. Not the fluffy tweets (although these have thankfully stopped) or LOI's or the set up of a Chinese office. There is only one announcement the market wants (GEMED). Just because there is a delay doesn't mean it ain't happening, but without the deal this stock is going nowhere in the short term and that is just the reality
There are still a few catalysts that can catch the market unawares and shoot this up (we have seen it before with other specs). Question is - how long are people prepared to wait? - would like to hear from long term holders what they think are reasonable time frames based on CEOs' recent update - 'deal nearing completion/finalised' or words to that effect.
How much time does that buy 3 months perhaps or 6 months?
There are many broken timelines and promises in the spec world. How many times has a spec company said 'deal imminent' and we sit there and wait it out for another 12 months - 2 years. what is the reasonable grace period?
I still think CDX have a few months grace - but heck, I have been here a long time riding ACG/CDX and I am more positive (although still a natural sceptic), than I have been for a few years - probably since the release of the CPT1 reimbursement rates were announced and burst the ACG bubble - most traders will have no idea what that is/was but many old timers (lexcorp etc) will know what was on offer then vs what is on offer now - the same basic med-tech device - but two vastly different companies.
I am at least for now, prepared to give the passion and vision a bit more time to gain traction. Fingers crossed
