It has only been a negative, both as a distraction from managing the business and obviously as a cap on the share price. It is worrying that they are not capable of negotiating amicably with a man who has a track record of backing successful companies. The only way they can make it up is outperforming the seemingly meager expectations of the market. In the meantime, for long-suffering shareholders, another year is ticking by without any progress on creating sustainable shareholder value.
