Your sign off statement is better "the stock market - a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient". I have often been tempted over the past few years to add a statement to my HC profile "you will never own enough ISX shares"- or - "one can never own enough ISX shares" but haven't as I thought I might be accused of upramping in ISX and other non-ISX forums.
I have always believed that I will never hold enough ISX shares and still to this day, wish I held more. Like some, I have been accumulating in as many areas as possible (i.e. personal, super, SMSF). I think ISX is a share many will wish they had bought and held. In saying that, when others sell, it does present a good buying opportunity for those like me who did buy large volumes, at earlier year/lower prices. e.g. recent purchases at this price do not increase the overall holding buy price by much. My recent purchase only increased my overall holding buy price by 0.001 cents.
