Maybe they didn't like the CLBP P2 data in comparison to opioids, opioids give a 15 point reduction in pain, Mesoblast 35 point reduction, maybe the market likes opioids?
The bar for the P3 CLBP is set at what surgical intervention can do, if only as good that is not enough. That level of pain relief was set based on P2 results so it should be exceeded.
