I understand - just don’t get into a position where they might even think you are - they are not someone you want to give you a second look.
I know of some absolute horror stories from people that seem to be either innocent or have done very little wrong - sometimes just an administration slip.
On the other hand - the department stuffs up all the time - and I have found them to be very helpful and very human
I will go out of my way though to keep it that way - never forget how much power these people have
