I just started reading about them this weekend, from my understanding the upside for Minis is uncapped. The stop loss is the key one to worry about. Citi simply owns the underlying shares in its trust, and lends you the "final instalment" amount. The final instalment grows over time with interest, which is currently a reasonable 6.2%. Given the likely of APT either doing very well or very bad 6.2% p.a. is not too much to concern about.

The Instalment Minis currently on offer for APT have very conservative stop losses, I probably wouldn't get anything for APT with a stop loss above $10.
