for the first 10 houses.....who cares if the HX isn't operating at peak efficiency.
After that first 10, sure for WaaS FBR will want it at peak efficiency to maximize profit and therefore a fully optimised brick, but in saying that I feel you are also suggesting that unless the brick/block is fully optimised the whole business case for WaaS and HX is not good? You cannot have it both ways.
Either the HX can or cannot profitably compete with manual brick layers using any brick that fits the dimensions of the grabbers and the boom.

If the HX can be profitable with any type of brick than manual brick layers then why go to all the trouble and time 3 times over to develop bricks.
If the HX cannot be profitable unless special bricks/blocks are used, then that doesn't say much for its market potential market penetration does it.... given all the different reasons that I'm assuming go into selecting a brick design.

With regards to your Brickworks comments...they did this, they told FBR that.....and you know this how exactly? Or is it merely your assumptions?
