I just feel that all this talk about a positve announcement for the sake of Option holders is wishful thinking.
The oppies are in the money. The vast majority of them will be exercised. Those people that have just bought and are waiting on a white knight to increase the SP are just learning the dangers of buying options close to the expiry time. I do hope for those that have just bought that there is an announcement, but I dont think it would be significant enough to bring them any more into the money.
The companies conscience is clean as the oppies were 25c options.
I feel sorry for newbies who see the massive leverage with oppies but forget about the risks involved.
