The notice received today says the ANZ holds 54m shares or 27.36% after last Fridays big sale. If we deduct the shares sold Thursday 19/6 then they are probably down to around 22.4% or 46m shares.
Another 4 million say, and they are down below 20% and this should occur mid next week. The rules of disposal will then change as they will no longer be governed under the takeover provisions.
Will be good to see ANZ off the register.
