Well Jamac, I only know what has been released and what I have read on sites that research Volt. There are hints that Volt may get its funding? But no guarantees. The market hasn't shown much enthusiasm for VRC's latest announcement. I do know that VRC remains a high spec stock with plenty of risk, and that risk will only change once the US$40m project funding is in the bank!

Any discussion about its future sp is pure speculation. Securing that funding would definitely cause the sp to rise. Stage 1 and Stage 2 development would also cause the sp to rise. But the market determines the sp, and how high that sp goes is just a guess! One can look at WKT, which has had a 380% rise in its sp over the last few weeks to a mc of $120m. A similar rise of 380% in VRC's sp would see its sp hit about 6.6c, or a similar rise in the mc would see VRC have a sp of about 8.5c!

I said similar things about the potential of VRC 2 years ago, along with others! VRC has the potential for a significant rise in its sp, if it secures its funding, and the market likes the story. However, after many let downs and announcements that have led to nothing, investors are more cautious with VRC now, IMHO.

I do know that I sold some VRC a few weeks ago at 2.1c and I have quite a bit of cash currently marking time. If and when VRC announces that funding is 100% guaranteed to be secured, I know that I will be jumping back into buying the stock, along with a whole raft of others!

When we all know that the funding has been secured, then there will indeed be some parties, and more wild speculation about VRC’s future sp!

Let's hope that the funding is secured soon, and mid-July would indeed be a nice time for us all to know that it has been secured!
