Blackstone, the world's largest and most successful alternative asset manager, has bought USD 19 billion of industrial warehouses across the US, comprising 1,300 properties.
This Blackstone deal is the largest property deal in history. Previously, Blackstone had timed perfectly other property investments, such as Hotels when it bought out Hilton, and family homes shortly after the GFC.
