"Australian legal experts including the Australian legal council stated at the time that based on the evidence the trial outcome would have been the same as it was in Indonesia"
So do u think she would have been found guilty if the same happened coming into Australia?
No jury and corrupt Judges who accept bribes doesn't help.
She was offered a plea by a Judge runner of 400k upfront and 250k after the court case for 12 years and out in 6.
Watch the doco tonight and u will see what I mean.
Do u really think this is a good system?
The judge has had over 500 drug cases, Do u know how many he has found innocent.....none.
Quite a remarkable statistic.
Again.... if she is guilty then she should get whatever the penalty is in that country, harsh or otherwise.
But it should be proved beyond reasonable doubt imo.
If you found 4kgs of pot in your luggage at the customs desk ....what would u do to prove your innocence?
Or ....what could u do?
The DPP has to prove your guilt in Australia, in Indo you are guilty first......then try prove innocence anyway u can, which u never will be able too.
Watch the doco tonight.....I guess that will reveal some of the details.
