Mineral Exploration is hot in Quebec. Sayona should ask for funding...............................

A recent study by Aviseo shows that mineral exploration contributes $441 million to Quebec's GDP, in addition to supporting more than 5,000 jobs.

This study was commissioned by the Quebec Mineral ExplorationAssociation (AEMQ).

More than a third of this amount would be injected into theAbitibi-Témiscamingue economy, or about $ 150 million.

The study also shows that mineral exploration faces a significantchallenge in attracting young people.

AEMQ's executive director, Valérie Fillion, says that there is noprecise portrait of the impact of mineral exploration on Québec's economy.
