In a way you are correct that nobody can prove the assertion of deliberate wrongdoing unless its investigated. You do however wonder how it was that the BOD got this so wrong especially over a deal for $40mio with an entity with precious little financial ability and trading experience.
Maybe we should just blame trump for the deal falling through?
In regards to your comment on Trump being an originator of conspiracy and BS, I think you will find that the conspiracy theories and BS are promulgated by the majority of the press who are against Trump and who have become the mouthpiece for the Democrats narrative in the USA. It appears that the conspiracy and BS and opinion, made to look like fact, was and is a political stunt to impeach Trump. This is why he termed the expression "fake news" (from the main media outlets)
