Two out of three results were >100 gram metres. That is bonanza material. Nothing wrong with SPWRC040 at 11m @ 11.4g/t. SPWRC039 was 3m wide, including 1m @ 180g/t and 2m @ 16.2g/t (back calculated average). 16.2g/t is half an ounce! 3m is actually wide compared to WA ‘narrow vein’ deposits. As stated earlier, SPWRC036 was the only disappointing result, but at 18.9gram metres, that is economic at most WA mines right now at these depths.
Also, given the very high grade tenor in this deposit, I expect coarse gold will be significant and therefore Nugget effect to be present. So, with the splitting and gravity separation in RC samples, I would query if the lower grade results are undercalling the gold due to the nugget.
