As I've written on a number of occasions, I think to some extent the dynamics of the gold market have changed to the detriment of investors/speculators. It is very small by capitalization and nowadays highly manipulated by powers with an endless supply of capital to protect the vested interests of a few. Logical conclusions have given way to orchestrated conclusions on a short term basis which means on any given day no matter where the USD goes or how much or how little interest rates are tinkered with, bullion can go anywhere and gold stocks don't necessarily follow.

You simply cannot invest in this market at the moment with confidence.
