there is no right or wrong on the metrics you use to value a company. EV is what you need to pay to buy a whole company, NPAT is how much you can earn from the company as an owner, easy as that. I dont lIke EBITDA and EBIT, because they make people overestimate the profitability of a company. if I wanna invest in a company, I will make sure there is a margin of safety.
