Are you sure about that?
I'm not going to check every suburb in Melbourne, but here are five examples comparing the infrastructure between UWL, the NBN, and ST1:
Kensington on the NBN - half brown (build commenced), half white (wait till next year), and a bit in purple (NBN already available):
Uniti already has a tower in Kensington:
This is Richmond on the NBN - lots of brown:
Uniti has a tower in Richmond:
Moonee Ponds on the NBN:
Uniti has a tower in Moonee Ponds:
Carrum Downs on the NBN - northern part brown, southern part purple:
Uniti already in Carrum Downs:
Clayton on the NBN:
Uniti has infrastructure in Clayton:
When I type these suburbs on Spirit's residential search page https://spirit.com.au/residential-internet/, I get:
- Kensington - no properties show up
- Richmond - no properties show up
- Moonee Ponds - no properties show up
- Carrum Downs - no properties show up
- Clayton - Rusden House Apartments, 662 Blackburn Road, Clayton VIC 3168
If its existing infrastructure is anything to go by, I think UWL has plenty of opportunity to service the areas in brown.
Disclosure: medium holding in ST1
