I like and hold a small parcel of AGO, but the mere fact they reach production first shouldn't be a buying sign. AGO's resources are insignificant compared to GBG and there large magnetite resource is years behind Karara. GBG's production will surpass AGO next year, and every year from their onwards. Comparing MC's GBG also presents better value.

The simple fact is that the market CURRENTLY prefers DSO, and magnetite is yet to prove itself as viable in Australia. GBG will set a precedent for this in the years to come.

I think the resource upgrade of 2+ billion tonnes with an updated BFS will see some serious money poured back into GBG. I doubt GBG will simply produce 12mtpa forever when their will be infrastructure and resource size to significantly surpass this 2 to 3 times+.
