Thanks Ryan. Those criticising the Southport facility obviously have no idea what a great asset THC has managed to acquire.
As you rightly point out, cannabis has numerous chemical elements (over 400 according to some reports), including 113 cannabinoids and 100+ terpenes. It appears likely that THC's facility will be one of very few (possibly even one of only two) cannabis extraction facilities in Australia capable of purification to the degree required to separate out the cannabinoids which the pharmaceutical manufacturers will be requiring and the terpenes which the food and beverage manufacturers will be looking for.
The tie-up with EVE and the meluka honey and the tea tree products is already providing R & D opportunities to develop new products, and the potential for new product development is likely to be another useful revenue earner at Southport.
It seems very likely that THC will have a wide variety of clients and customers wishing to avail themselves of the capabilities of this state-of-the-art facility.
Cheers,
Mike
