I’ve had replies from the said person, in fact, the communication has been consistent.

In fact, I’ve also been talking to fellow posters who also have been in communication, all very positive.

2 rules of loyalty:
1: don’t cross the line if it’s asked of you not to repeat any conversations
2: don’t get caught out repeating in-confidence communication

Yes, quite possible he does read this forum and no wonder he won’t respond to you or others if all you’re doing is whinging and complaining like an immature brat.

How about try another tact and reach out to him civilly and ask in a reasonable tone without probably attacking him or complaining. Perhaps apologise for whatever you have said to him that clearly he has taken offence to.
