Am I understanding this correctly?

The lower the SP is over the 5-day period leading to 30 June 2019, the greater the number of shares to be awarded to MC.

How many can actually be vested 2 years later, will be determined by how the SP moves in relation to it's peers over that time.

Seems like there is a VERY strong incentive for MC to sit on any positive announcements until after 1 July. Wouldn't be too upset about watching the SP getting chipped away like now either...
