Yep, captured most the points there @Savvydude.
Just to take your points one step further, L-Max binds aluminium and fluoride together in the process. It's what makes it safe from releasing HF into the air.
So within the residue of the process, there is aluminium fluoride. Fingers crossed that it is viable to extract that and sell it to Gulf Fluor as well.
And yes, I believe there have been discussions about piping sulphuric acid straight from Gulf Fluor to LPD's plant, if that goes ahead.
