The highest level the shorts have taken AJM to in the last 3 years is to 2.07% or 37,630,788 shares short sold, which was on 6 February 2019 .... nowhere near the likes of PLS, GXY, etc etc
I can't explain why this is so, but they would now know the Directors have very deep pockets re: Capital, which as a coincidence they would have found out the day after the short sales peaked at the above figure on 7 February 2019 in the SPP announcement .... they appear to have retreated from this point onwards though, apart from a small surge in late April to late May where I believe they would have then found out that JRO discontinued selling shares on market .... hehe
