portimao18 sold their LVT shares to realise a tax loss. They then hoped to buy back at the same, or lower prices. The anticipation of other traders behaving similarly probably reinforces their belief they will be able to buy them back lower.

portimao18 is therefore unhappy that the share price is rallying while they watch on the sidelines, and is kindly warning others from buying now (due to the pending tax loss selling). They are upset that investors are talking positively about a stock they own in a chat room, as that may add to positive sentiment and support further share price gains.

I would think it would be better to question one’s own tax trading strategy involving a stock they clearly want long exposure to, rather than getting upset at the positive nature of others.

I think there’s a saying out there about letting tax dictate investment decisions...

Also, I also think that we collectively need to be aware that LVT is a > $300m company and has experienced a substantial increase in volume/liquidity. As much as we’d like to believe our positive chat room comments might materially impact share price - there are larger forces at play...
