A new story just out to the believers - if you can really believe it - a new mining method will now be used.
Veins are narrow. Nothing in this annoucement about what impact it will have on the mill throughput - I suggest that they were struggling with throughput, so that's why they tried to mine the other deposits some 40 kms away without success.
With the Coyote deposit being very narrow this will certianly impact on mill throughput - the mill will be severely impacted - not run to capacity. How will this effect the 70k oz/annum or promised 100k/oz? These questions haven't been answered as yet - expect they will be in the June quarterly. What is their current production.
