Putting your petty assumptions about me aside for the moment.... why do you single out the Catholic Church, many filthy rich people and organisations operate in the same manner. it's called 'human nature'.

"When an institution like this is more interested in amassing and maintaining material wealth rather than using their funds to improve the life of humankind then it sort of feels like they aren't that religious or charitable. "

Do I need to post a list of the charitable organisations run by the Catholic Church? Your statement seems to imply that they do NOT improve anyone's life (Mother Theresa?) and that is patently false.

Your complaint seems to be that they not using their vast wealth in a way that YOU approve of.

"I said it before and I'll say it again. "Jesus saves, but the Pope invests." "

Sure. Do you want to talk about filthy-rich American televangelists too? It aint just the Catholics old mate.
