zinc price now at a level that is hurting some producers eg Perilya I understand has operating costs around 90c/lb. I don't think we'll see any strong momentum return to zinc until 2009 when the supply/demand equation begins to turn around. In the meantime movements of the USD will probably have most impact. I had originally thought it would settle around $1.10 to $1.20 though.
