NEW Final5 RECRUITMENT SHORTLIST SERVICE ANNOUNCED
Leading on-line interactive marketing specialist emitch Limited and a leading corporate
recruitment firm Slade Group have formed a joint venture to offer a new job candidate
shortlisting service, Final5.
The Final5 service will begin an initial trial period in early 2004.
Announcing the venture the Executive Chairman of emitch Mr Stuart Simson and the
Chairman of Slade, Mr Geoff Slade said the service recognises the frustrations of many
employers in getting too many inappropriate job hunters, or hardly any at all.
“Final5 combines the best of advertising and the best of recruitment and delivers a
solution in a cost-effective time-efficient way to Australian employers,” Mr Simson and
Mr Slade said.
“The service combines advertising and recruitment expertises with state of the art
predictive screening software to transform the economics of the recruitment process. The
service will provide employers with a shortlist of the very best applicants, at the same
time allowing candidates to submit their resumes in any format.
“This is a win-win for everyone involved. The service will address the desire of
employers for a first class shortlist from their on-line job advertising
“Final5 looks forward to working closely with the operators of the job boards to
complement their job listing advertising services. We also envisage that traditional
recruitment agencies will be interested to adopt the service as it will assist them compete
more effectively”.
Mr Simson said a value-added service in recruitment marketing is a natural extension of
the interactive marketing services of emitch. “It sits well with the services we already
offer in general on-line advertising and search marketing,” he said. Mr Simson said the
venture involved a minimal capital outlay for emitch.
Mr Slade said the service would complement the existing suite of recruitment services
offered by Slade which include executive, permanent and temporary recruitment using
full behavioural interviewing, psychological appraisals and bona fide references checks.
“Employers can now take up a very cost and time effective service that captures the best
