Your post leaps from several things that are uninformed surmises by the HC community to an uninformed aspersion about a potential partner.

Do you really think that is helpful?

Just because something has come to be seen as true by the mass of HC posters and has not explicitly contradicted by ECT that does not make it true... and its pretty rich to slag off organisations whose motivations and decisions you do not know directly based on such poor data.

How do you feel about those who make public assessments of your character based on poorly understood rumor and innuendo?

We will never know 90% of what has happened in these negotiations and we will understand even less of the motivations of the protagonists.
