Good to see some sensible fact based postings to counter the recently revived one line ramp brigade....imo.
Ottos plans are to "farm out the 3D seismic and drilling".
Now that suggests to me they have little faith in SC55.
If they were as keen as some here believe they are ,,,, they would be funding the 3D program THEN seeking farminees on better terms .... (just as KIK/NDO have done at SC54).
No one on the planet will drill deepwater without 3D ... thats an industry FACT!
The cost of 3D over Marantao would be about $5m~7m .... so why would Otto not fund this themselves if they are sooooo confident??
Sorry , I just dont buy it.....and now will any potential farminees imo.
