I emailed NEU asking why they would consider selling the whole business given the assumed little value a potential purchaser would offer on NNZ-2591 given its pre-clinical stage vs the value we could extract if developed ourselves. Quick firm reply was that the Board has consistently said it will consider all options available to the company.
At least we will have a good idea where we stand in approx 3 months. Maybe the will announce a super deal 07/08 being exactly 12 months since the Acadia announcement and the SP hammering. The AUD is expected to sink lower over the coming months which makes any transaction attractive to both NEU and partner.
