    I read that they had a number of battery producers queuing to buy the lithium carbonate and wanting to lock in supply. The price is determined by the iso (ie LiCO purity) which is why they need it first. As that is 99% complete I expect that will be done shortly. I expect the LiCO price is determined by market demand, and not the contract. Demand is expected to increase due to the mass production of EVs.
