Hi Bas, Thanks for your insight. Since my short time in the market I have learnt from reading articles, advise from brokers, your comments, financial advisors etc.
The one thing that I have noticed from this, is, are the stocks you're researching earning money and the art of being patient (by the time the stock has reached 40c - they may have ceased burning cash and actually be earning revenue). I have had stocks recommended at a by below price, some I have managed to buy, some not, some take a little time to acquire. I must admit in the beginning of building my portfolio I was a classic "FOMO", eg Lithium, new oil/gas fields discovered without farm outs & MM. As I do on a Friday night at the Pub I have few small bets on the horses without any formulation but for my lucky numbers, name of the horses or omens(similar pattern) and some occasionally pay off, but this is just a bit of fun, putting thousands into stocks is a very different matter for me from now on. I'm keeping my CGB shares and let then ride, they just might be my lucky horse!
Bas, is that your alias for the advisor bloke that doesn't wear shoes?wink.png
