Actually, as long as my ar*@ has pointed down I have never understood why we need to go down 200 points, assured by the futures position BEFORE our market opens...as well.

I might be on another planet but, BHP and RIO are still getting the coal (up 300% in price) and IO (up say 85%) out of the ground as fast as their little butts can excavate...Zinc, Copper and gold (we are the biggest in mining that now so the US Geological Surver says) are still being mined, found and sold or JV'ed.

Where is the catastophe that the avericious wankers on Wall Street that applies to us here in little ol' Oz?
