"FTR the DOW is now 18.3% below its ATH as against the XAO which is still down 21.1% even after yesterday's rally [but B4 today's trading of course]."
I think that the reason for this is because the Aussie Market is globally viewed as a speculative.... and in times of uncertainty funds are generally pulled out of specs. So for that reason we get sold down more that the US despite the fact that they are the ones in trouble not us.
