ASX roars higher as central banks turn dovish

Investors also poured money into the growth areas of the market, with tech stocks both rising through the week. Afterpay Touch climbed 10.5 per cent to $23.85, Nearmap jumped 14.8 per cent to end the week at $4.12, Appen advanced 8.8 per cent to $28.10 and Altium climbed 4.1 per cent to $33.97.
