Yeah its a different market these days.
The rise of smart phone trading apps and ready available free charting softwear, has bought in a heap of amatuer retail traders who spend a few hours watching youtube tutorials on how to read a chart, then place trades accordingly.....
The big boys are well aware of this and set up charts to suck them in, either long or short. Probly why the market keeps rising as many retail can short any instrument now, which in the past was a difficult thing to do.
