My take on things is that most current holders (by far) would have paid a lot more for their shares than even 5c (my average is way higher) let alone the current abysmal low of 2.6c, so if good news comes through we should be expecting a big jump, IMO possibly a doubling of the current SP. Most of the holders will not want to let their stake in LCT go for less than they paid if they can finally see the possibility of a return on the investment. Especially not after all the stress and waiting for positive news (for years!). If news is bad, or just more waiting then I'm not sure how the market will react. Not well probably.

My thoughts are at the moment are that at the next board meeting they will consider the expert advice on the trial and make a decision about whether to extend monitoring for 6 more months to clarify the result, go ahead with a submission to Medsafe with the data they have, or give up on the trial.
