"Nothing was known back then about the shock and stress the forces away or the first responders at home went through or at least not how to treat it."

My uncle Louie was a US Marine at Pearl Harbor December 7 1941. My aunt Wilma frequently woke next to him sitting in bed firing his machine gun at the Zeros. Can you imagine trying to convince someone so stressed out, that they are only dreaming - especially when they were actually there?

Then there is the generation now dying out who may have worked on the Burma railway etc, who later had to suck it up when their choice was second best product or the wiz bang and cheaper from the land of the rising sun!

"...when...we get into the twenties or thirties, its so easy for the stock to move around three or six cents in a day. Instead of the current cent or so. 1) Thats when you see your portfolio value really go nuts and 2) the fun really begins.."

    1) What about the fund managers who have gobs to put down - I don't believe that the are here yet either. 2) FUN, are you kidding? It's hard enough to know when to put down the hard earned, but for me it's almost impossible to know when to pull the plug - Arrrggh!
