The military are certainly all over this tech. I think the current drones are EV are they not? They keep all that pretty secret I guess.

We will be flying in these soon, great stuff. Cheaper ticket price, lower attitude meaning less fatigue, and much quicker to destination than driving.

Most regional flights in WA are dearer than flights to Sydney! This will change quickly.

Once battery tech improves then long haul flights will be the next goal for these guys.
They have to be much safer planes too, so many fewer moving parts..

And surely, well everyone has thought that with PV film on the wings the flight distance could be extended. On clear day flights anyway. Solar load is higher at attitude as well so the batteries should charge quicker for PV panels higher up...

All amazing stuff, once only science fiction, its happening in our lifetime. All using Lithium....

Its the biggest mistake anyone could make wishing their life away but can't wait to see where LTR is at in 2 years time!
