Development of power stations / GTL plants, etc etc, all take time and significant amounts of capital before any real profits are made. So yes CXY and the other UCG stocks are definately Long Term stocks.
IMO, if you are interested in getting in at ground level now would be an ideal time. Short to medium term can see a lot of value adding to the share price as well, with investors seeing the potential and future value of the stock.
