They should be regulated better imo. I have only played with them a little but if they weren't allowed here then then the options markets would be a lot more liquid.
A friend has been trading in the US for the past few years and found the US options markets on equities very liquid and easy to trade.
When I started trading, I was trading options and even on the top 20 you have to look at liquidity before entering a trade. Most of the time spreads were too big to make the trade worth while. Get all the cfd traders in the option market and it would be a better place for everyone imo.
