FAR appear to argue that they were unable to determine the valuation of a 35% WI of SNE - that in itself is interesting.
If you were COP which option would you choose regarding FAR's request for additional info on day 29 -
a) "FAR are upstanding legit buyers with access to required funds, if we just give them the additional information about terms and conditions of the non-JV company share transaction this will all go through in 30 days and FAR will pay us pronto"
b) "FAR have no money, FAR have not said they want the asset, FAR have given no indication they have a financial partner and have requested info that should not be required for them to assess the PE of the WI"
