Pilotplant
When I asked about the processing plant (and the scepticism on HotCopper about whether it exists lol) Matt Hill said that he might as well just show me. I felt a bit uncomfortable taking photos but did take a couple. Not sure whether I was allowed to take photos so I haven’t posted it here. The pilot plant fits within a large shipping container off-site. There is a ball mill and there is also a crusher, a spinning/centrifuge machine and a shaking table. I tried to pick up the exact words and procedures but it’s not really my area of expertise. I just know what the stuff does and that is crush up ore and spit out gold/silver sulphide. The shaker table will apparently separate physical gold from sulphide from the inert sand. It can sort the material into 3 different pipes.
At the pilot plant was also rather large piles of apparently high grade material ready for processing once the land use consent is sorted. Judging by the type of area the processing plant is in, I do not think there will be any huge problems compared to the type of activities going on all around this place. The effects of the processing plant will be way less than minor so should be permitted as an activity. Watch this space I reckon.
