Just goes to show you their buying needs for a continuous supply of high quality spod.
It looks like they have had a bumpy road acquiring their raw mineral supplies, from the likes of SQM and Tianqi.
Buying into AJM, offtake partner, J/V however it happens makes strategic sense.
They need that spod now, they are ready to increase li chemical production to meet the needs for long range Chinese battery production.
